The reason i uninstalled in the first place, was because i noticed there was a small difference in filesize in the ressource.mod folder compared to the previous dlcfix. just run normally, then it will delete itself.Ģ.Then I got an application error, telling i have to reinstall the game, cause ressources was changed. copying the new exe files from dlc-fix,Ģ.running the bat file in adminstrator, and bat file wont delete itself.ģ. started CS, asked to login to gamersgate, i write my login credentials,ġ. went through the main game + expansion one by one, starting campaigns and skirmish.Ģ. ok, I did delete everything, and reinstalled again.Ģ. The game started fine.īut then i wanted to test it out on a fresh install, to test if it would still work. Ok it worked when i applied the exe files and the bat file on my previous installation of the dlc-fix, and had no issues. In addition, switching skins of the castle would be accessible. Till now, I still found nothing missing with this approach at least for the game ONLY. You could perfectly succeed your old profile and progress by this as well. The only drawback (Make a backup for your profile before this ) for this method is your progress and profile will be set to default with a name "majesty" which however could be manually changed by editing "profiles.list". It seems that all the things works fine without your dlcfix patch as all the 8 temples are in good condition except the map editor which I didn't check and care much for it. There is a "des" created in your profiles folder. I checked my root folder where there is a folder "support" consisting of "InstallDLC.exe" "InstallSample.exe" "M2CollectionDLCRepair.exe" "RemoveShaderCache.exe". swapping weapons, casting Battle Orders, swapping back).
